Fresh year, Fresh blog
With the new year, I've decided to start fresh, a new blog to hopefully record my life, my passions, my craft. To incorporate all aspects of my life, from the mundane to the downright weird. But first introductions to those who may venture here and take notice of my prattlings.
My name is Cheryl, a 50ish year old wife, mother and friend, live in a suburb of Sydney with my husband, two grown offspring and a cat.
My interests are wide, everything from Crafts to Witchery. I love to create, I love learning new and old crafts. I will share the crafts I am interested in, be it sewing, knitting, crocheting or.... the list goes on and on.
I am not religious but am into Spirituality, some would call it New Age but it's very old and grounded in the roots of the earth. I have described myself in the past as a Christian with Pagan Tendencies. I hope to share some of that here without freaking too many out.
I am also into ghost hunting, have sensed and felt spirits all of my life, seen a few too. Have watched way too many ghost hunting shows, itching to get out there in the field and for the last few years have been able to do just that. Firstly was casual with a few friends, we started with a bang, an overnight trip to Maitland Prison and then moved onto both day and night graveyard visits. I found that I really wanted to help lost souls and the group of friends I am with are all like minded. I've now joined a registered group and happily have found that they are also like minded. It's not the fame or fortune that we are after, it's the sense of helping others. We will never invent or make up stories or create falsehoods just to sensationalise. I can share some of my stories but will keep the locations and names to myself.
